Salt Bath Furnaces

Gas / Liquid Nitriding Furnace

Nitriding system that imparts a high-hardness, wear-resistant diffusion layer.

Also known as: Liquid nitriding furnace, Salt bath nitriding furnace, Nitrocarburizing furnace

Gas / Liquid Nitriding Furnace

Overview

The Gas / Liquid Nitriding Furnace is designed and built by Trimurti Furnace in Nashik, India, for crankshafts & camshafts, cylinder liners, timing gears and plastic extrusion screws. It is offered with a loading capacity of 1000 kg. Capacity can be changed as per your requirement. Each furnace is engineered to the customer's parts and throughput by Trimurti Furnace Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001-certified manufacturer since 1991.

Electrically heated nitriding furnace for ferrous materials, applying nitride treatment through a nitrocarburizing bath. Produces a wear-resistant diffusion layer that significantly extends component life.

Engineering Perspective

A wear answer that doesn't thermally shock the part.

Nitriding builds a surface above 900 HV without ever taking the bulk through a quench. For crankshafts, cams, and extruder screws — parts where dimensional stability matters as much as hardness — it's often the only sensible choice.

Why engineers specify it
  • Surface hardness > 900 HV
  • No quench distortion on long parts
  • Tunable diffusion layer (depth & profile)

Applications

Built for these processes

  • Crankshafts & camshafts
  • Cylinder liners
  • Timing gears
  • Plastic extrusion screws
  • Punching & sliding-gate dies
